Rejoicing

Wow!

What a great day! Steve took me up to Winton Woods Convocation and I spent a little over an hour getting hugs and love from my co-workers! From the Superintendent to Custodial staff, all expressed their relief and amazement to see me standing there. Many thanked God for hearing their prayers and I asked them not to stop! God scooped us right out of that wreckage and has poured healing on us every day! I don't know who was more grateful...my peers to see me or for me to see them! I do know that everyone responds with relief when they see how good Katie and I are doing.

I will need patience as I work thru the next month. It has turned out that I will be done wearing the brace and begin therapy for my arm in the same week. I see the spine doctor again on Sept 8 and the Orthopedic on Sept 23. When I saw Dr. Wyrick, the orthopedic surgeon last week, he said my arm and leg looked great and everything was healing very well. As I become more active as the days pass, it really fills me with gratitude again to have been cared for by such wonderful medical professionals.

P.S. The lovely lady pictured here with me is Elaine, my dear friend and collegue.

One last note:
The individual responsible for the accident is supposed to be charged next week.
I pray for swift and appropriate justice to be served.

Love from me to you -Dona Sue
